Decision Guide
AF01 or AF02: Which One Fits You?
4 min read
The Short Answer
Choose AF01 if you need a touchpad and numeric input. Choose AF02 if you want an angled split for focused writing.
AF01 — The Complete Input Surface
The AF01 has 82 physical keys plus an 18-key numeric touch panel. It is designed for people who need to navigate, click, and enter numbers — think spreadsheets, forms, and mixed-device work where a mouse is not always available.
If your work involves data entry or navigation without a trackpad, the AF01 gives you a complete input surface in a foldable form.
AF02 — The Focused Writing Keyboard
The AF02 has 80 keys in an ergonomic angled split layout with quiet 1.4mm scissor-switch keys. It is designed for people whose primary task is typing — documents, email, long-form writing.
The split layout opens into a more natural hand position. If you write more than you navigate, the AF02 is the focused choice.
Quick Decision Checklist
- Pick AF01 if: You work with numbers, need a touchpad, or need numeric input.
- Pick AF02 if: Your work is primarily writing, or you prefer a more comfortable split typing angle.
